Frank Roche

Frank Roche I’m a partner at iFractal LLC, where KnowHR was created. I specialize in organizational communication and have worked with some of the biggest and most prestigious companies throughout the world. My clients have included Comcast, Sears, Kmart, Siemens, Xerox, Nike, ABN-AMRO, Shell, TIAA-CREF, Fisher Scientific, Deutsche Bank, IBM, Guidant, AOL, Sandoz, The Royal Bank of Scotland, SAP, and many, many others. (You didn’t think I was prematurely gray, did you? I earned every one of those grey hairs).

I grew up on Chicago-style pizza, sipped sweet tea in South Carolina, and relished rijstaffels when I lived in Amsterdam. Basically, I guess you could say I work for food. Or that I like to travel.

I’ve been a professional dog handler, a polymer physicist, and a poet, but quickly realized that “being an artiste + $1.75 wouldn’t buy me a cup of coffee at Starbucks.” I write. I read. Sarah Chambers

Sarah ChambersWith my business partner, Frank Roche, I run a creative consulting firm, iFractal LLC. We specialize in motivating people to improve business results. We frequently focus on managers, the Achilles heel of many organizations.

My background is in business, psychology, executive compensation, and communication. I have an MBA and I have held a number of consulting positions in different specialties: finance and accounting, HR strategy, exec comp, communication, and applying technology to enhance the effectiveness of HR. I am a consultant because I love the business of business. I am fascinated by the inner-workings of organizations.

I want to change the world… starting by changing how companies do business. I need constant change in my own world (hence consulting; the high-wire experience of a start-up). I believe change is like a tidal wave. It’s building. It’s coming. We can be prepared, or we can react. I believe in being prepared.
