Come to PEBA on April 20. You’ll get to see me talk about social media (well, kinda). Here’s the topic:
The Social Media Game: There Aren’t Any Rules
HR used to write the rules. They managed the policies in a company. With the advent of social media, those rules have been thrown out the window. Now, employees have an open mic to shout out to the world about their experiences. And no matter how many rules you write to tell them they can’t, they will. With that in mind, we’ll explore the new rules (or non-rules) of the social media environment and offer some tips to HR pros on how to use social media to their advantage.
I’m on at 8:45 am. at the Philadelphia Mariott Downtown. If you register for the conference before April 1, you save money. It’s a really great program filled with lots of cool speakers. I have a fun audience participation thing planned. If you come, you can play.

Oh, Fran, my friend, I might need you to do a little extemporaneous talk…I have a fun idea…LOL. I’ll fill you in.
Word on the street has it that the PEBA Forum event is incredible.
Frank at the start. Inspirational speaker at the end. Networking and learning opportunities galore in the middle.
Only reason I can think of not to go to the PEBA forum is if you already know everyone or everything that you need to know.
The rest of us can take advantage of this tremendous value. I’ll be there. Hope to see you there too.
It’s going to be a great day, John. I’m looking forward to it.
