Let's Put on Bad Behavior Seminars

Wouldn’t it be great to put on a Bad Behavior in Corporate Environments seminar? And for M&As, you could have special classes like “Passive Aggressive Behavior for the Disaffected Manager” and “How to Make Yourself Look Like You’re Doing Something So You Can Keep Your Job.”

The possibilities are endless. It would be a lot of fun to design a class that poked holes in bad behaviors. Since I’m in Chicago, I think I should stop in at Second City and see if they’d like to partner up on a course. Hmmm…this might be a real business idea.

I love reading your blog. Just love it. Should you ever find yourself in the Denver/Boulder area and need a partner call on me. I think facilitating with you would be a blast. :)

Tim, thanks so much…you made my day.

Hey, let’s put together a class and offer it on the Front Range…fun stuff!

Another source of ideas (potential participants) would be Improv Everywhere (http://improveverywhere.com). I’d love to see the hidden camera footage of one of these “HR Seminars”!

That is indeed a fantastic idea Frank. Some of our classes already come close to those lines. :) I think a class like this would be a great way to help some of these HR folks unwind for an afternoon. BAHRA or the local ASTD chapter might really snap it up.

Reminds me of the old movie, “How to Get Ahead Without Really Trying.”
If these workshops are for the dysfunctional managers, how about…
“How to Get Around HR and Hire Your Cronies” or…”Writing Performance Appraisals in Less Than 5 Minutes” or…”How to Prepare Job Descriptions That Get Higher Salary Grades Than Warranted” or…”Get Your Career Moving Through Effective Schmoozing”
Frank, I smell money in offering these seminars. Let me know if you need a partner…

Just discovered this blog and will be back for sure.

I am thinking we could add the following to the training portfolio as well:

-The Time Wasters Manual; Optimum Ways to Stretch a Task!
-How to Convert a Simple Instruction into a 200-Page Policy Manual!
-How to Always Misquote the Collective Bargaining Agreement!

I’m in. Where do I sign up!
