The Strength of the Anti-Message

Posted on Friday, October 5, 2007 by Frank Roche

JT sent me this note with a link to the Dove – Onslaught ad above: “The strength of the anti-message. The high ground, when executed crisply and strongly is a great strategy.”

Here’s one of my favorite phrases: Thank goodness for the man, when nothing elsee need be said, doesn’t spend 15 minutes proving it.

Q.E.D. JT.

Wow, Charlie, yeah, that’s something in its own right. Your daughter is the perfect age for the bombardment of advertising. That’s just great. Pretty cool ad, huh?

I saw this recently and was impressed–it made an impression on me.
