Who Reads KnowHR Blog? Got 37 Seconds?

Posted on Saturday, July 14, 2007 by Frank Roche

In the words of The Who, I’ve been wondering, “Who Are You?”

Several thousand people read KnowHR Blog every day, but, in truth, I know only a few of you. So, I’ve put together a demographic survey to find out.

Would you help me out and let me know a little about you? The survey should take you no more than 37 seconds to complete, and if it takes you 11 seconds to click over, that’ll leave you 12 more seconds to do something great with your minute. I’m not looking to sell any advertising on this site. I don’t want to get your name on a mailing list. I don’t want to bother you. I just want to make the content on this site better and more tailored to what you want. Do you have 37 seconds for that?

Here’s how to help me make KnowHR Blog even better:

Click Here to take the KnowHR Blog reader survey

Here’s the payoff, if you RSS readers click over, you get to see The Who play at Live 8. It’s right below this sentence in a YouTube video. Who, who, who are you?

I really am looking for a thousand responses. If you could help me out, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi Scott…I was at a Web 2.0 conference last week, and a lot of people were talking about demographics. I thought I’d give it a try…so far a few over 100 people…I’m hoping to get a good sample size, so I’m shooting for a thousand….we’ll see. I’ll publish results once I get a decent sample. Already have some cool stuff.

I became aware of your site, and thought perhaps you might like to see mine (www.bossrater.com). I launched it last year and I’m planning some changes, especially to make it more useful to HR departments. But based on my experience in Corporate America, I think any manager, supervisor or executive who scores well on the questionnaire would be worth his or her weight in gold.
