Don’t Phone in Your Phone Interviews

Posted on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 by Frank Roche

Old TelephonePenelope Trunk, who writes The Brazen Careerist blog, wrote a very interesting article called “Five Ways to Do Better in Phone Interviews.” It’s stimulating thought. Penelope says:

  1. Attend to your surroundings.
  2. Dress for the part.
  3. Stand up.
  4. Prepare for the most obvious questions.
  5. Don’t forget to close.

Check out the whole article. Energy, my friends, matters whether you’re doing an in-person interview or if you’re on the phone.

Support this post around the web. We would really appreciate it.

Good tips for handling phone interviews. Also……. don’t forget to SMILE when you are talking on the phone It is amazing how much different, and positive, you sound when you smile.
