I remember doing my very first presentatin – and memorising the whole thing! These days I’m more relaxed – it’s more about what the audience needs than what I need.

Hi Santosh, I really liked John’s advice on that post. And what you say here is true: be an expert and plenty to say…don’t come up thin.

Thanks for sharing John’s post and hist excellent blog. I think the best way to avoid memorizing is to have a deep understanding of the subject. If you are giving a 7 minute speech, you should research and collect enough material to be able to speak for at least 30 minutes.
