HR Jargon

Posted on Thursday, November 9, 2006 by Frank Roche

I’ve run across several jargon sites in the last few days. Fun how that goes in streaks. The Jargon Database has a nice selection of HR jargon. My favorite on the list is “Work In”:

Work In. A curious negotiating tactic that involves showing up to work, but not actually doing anything.

Work Ins are closely related to quit-and-stays.

More resources: MBA Jargon Watch, Unicorp’s Mission Statement, and Business Jargon Mugs for your whole team. ;-)

Support this post around the web. We would really appreciate it.
