Learning to Lead

Reg Adkins wrote an interesting piece on Lifehack called Becoming a Great Leader. He points out that leadership isn’t a sometime thing, it’s an all-the-time thing. And good leaders exercise their leadership muscles. He says:

There seems to be a myth that having been a successful leader once, we know all there is to know about leadership. All we need to do to dispel this myth is spend one day when things don’t go as planned. Just as coworkers, customers, and clients come in all shapes and sizes so do they come with all sorts of attitudes, temperaments, personalities and experiences.

Good points made. I especially like this line in the article: “That which is learned can be relearned correctly.” Words to live by. Maybe you can teach an old boss new tricks.

Support this post around the web. We would really appreciate it.
